This makes it easy to deliver, set up, and reposition. As a full-electric bed, the foot and head sections are elevated and the over-all bed height is raised and lowered. The motor is lightweight and UL-approved for safety. Since it is self-contained, it will buffer the motor's sound while in operation. Drive Medical redesigned the hand pendant with larger easy-to-read control buttons to be used by the user or the caregiver. The bed height is adjustable removing the wheels to have a fixed position, even with the patient in the bed. In case of a power outage, the 9-volt battery backup provides enough power to perform up to nine adjustments.
